South Korean-Chinese K-pop boy band produced by S.M. Entertainment. Formed in 2011 in Seoul, South Korea, EXO consists of 12 members separated into two subgroups, EXO-K andEXO-M, performing music in Korean and Mandarin, respectively. EXO-K comprises Suho, Baekhyun, Chanyeol, D.O, Kai and Sehun. The members of EXO-M are Xiumin, Luhan, Kris, Lay, Chen and Tao.

"Super Junior"

 south Korean pop group. Formed in 2005 by producer Lee Soo-man of S.M. Entertainment, the group comprised a total of thirteen members at its peak. Super Junior originally debuted with twelve members, consisting of leader Leeteuk, Heechul, Hankyung, Yesung, Kangin,Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook and Kibum. Kyuhyun joined the group in 2006.

  five-member multi-national K-pop girl group formed by S.M. Entertainment in 2009. The group consists of Chinese leader Victoria, Taiwanese-American member Amber, Korean members Luna and Sulli, and Korean-American member Krystal

'Red Velvet'

 South Korean girl group formed by S.M. Entertainment in 2014. The group consists of Irene, Seulgi, Wendy and Joy. They have released two digital singles, "Happiness" and "Be Natural"

'SHINee'

South Korean contemporary boy group formed by S.M. Entertainment in 2008. The group consists of Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho, and Taemin. They made their debut on May 25, 2008 on SBS's Inkigayo with their single, "Replay".

'2NE1'

 a four-member South Korean girl group formed by YG Entertainment in 2009. The name, pronounced to anyone or twenty one, combines the phrases "21st century" and "new evolution.The band consists of CL,Minzy, Dara, and Bom.

'Big Bang'

a South Korean boy band formed by YG Entertainment. Leader G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung, and Seungri officially debuted as a five-member group on August 19, 2006.

'Winner'

South Korean boy band formed in 2014 by YG Entertainment. The group's five members are Kang Seung-yoon, Song Min-ho, Nam Taehyun, Kim Jinwoo, and Lee Seunghoon.

'AKMU'

 South Korean duo under YG Entertainment, consisting of siblings Lee Chan-hyuk and Lee Soo-hyun. They won the second installment of the K-pop Star series.

'IKON'

seven-member South Korean male group announced in 2014 by YG Entertainment. The line-up is yet to be finalized; fixed members of the group include B.I, Bobby and Kim Jinhwan, while four remaining members are currently being selected through the program, Mix and Match. Koo Junhoe, Jung Chanwooand Song Yunhyeong have currently been confirmed.

'BTS'

South Korean seven-member hip-hop boy group formed by Big Hit Entertainment, a company who also manages the artists GLAM and 2AM. They debuted on June 13, 2013 with their first title songNo More Dream followed by We Are Bulletproof Pt.II 

'2AM'

South Korean four-member ballad band under JYP Entertainment.^[1] The members are Jo Kwon, Jinwoon, Seulong, and Changmin. 2AM is one of the two subgroups branched out from the eleven-member (before Jaebeom's departure) boy band One Day, the other being 2PM. They officially debuted on July 11, 2008

'GOT7'

 hip hop boy group based in South Korea. Formed by JYP Entertainment in 16 January 2014, Got7 comprises seven members, consisting of leader JB, Mark, Jr., Jackson, Youngjae, Bambam and Yugyeom. Two of the members, JB and Jr., originally debuted as the pop duo JJ Project in 2012.

'Apink'

South Korean girl group under A Cube Entertainment formed in 2011. The group consists of Park Cho-rong, Yoon Bo-mi, Jeong Eun-ji, Son Na-eun, Kim Nam-joo and Oh Ha-young. Hong Yoo-kyung left the group in April 2013 to focus on her studies.

'SISTAR'

South Korean girl group formed in 2010 under the management of Starship Entertainment. The group consists of Hyolyn, Bora, Soyou and Dasom.

'4 MINUTE'

 five-member South Korean girl group formed in 2009 by Cube Entertainment with music singles and albums released primarily in South Korea and Japan. The members of the group are Nam Ji-hyun, Heo Ga-yoon, Jeon Ji-yoon, Kim Hyun-a, and Kwon So-hyun.

 South Korean girl group formed by Polaris Entertainment in 2013. The group originally consisted of leader Ashley and members RiSe, EunB, Sojung and Zuny. They made their debut with the mini-album Code#01 and the lead track "Bad Girl", which was released on March 7, 2013. On September 3, 2014, the group was involved in a car accident that resulted in the deaths of EunB and RiSe
